dear brothers: why do you rate the price and not the app? if you don't like to spend money, then why spend time rating the price? foolish, isn't it?this tool works and works very well. are there others? yes. try some of the high rated ones, i'm sure one will do what you like. this one for example.

i agree with capzap. the gui on this program is stunning and beautifully designed. it's rare to see such a polished interface on any software.with nero losing its original focus and becoming ever more bloated i find myself prefering nti instead.

i hope this software will continue to improve. i like the concept but in my system i found myself in an endless loop of reboots trying to delete a file that unhackme said was not on my machine.. i found much of the documentation hard to follow. the translation is in need of fine tuning. as far as i can tell once a file called "mchinjdrv.sys" was once on my machine and was in the autorun section of my registry. unhackme repeatedly found the entry in my registry and tried to delete the file even though it was not physically on my system. perhaps i misunderstood but i was repeatedly directed to reboot my system to remove the threat that repeatedly was reported not found....any way good luck to the development team. i hope you can refine this program so that it is more anglo-friendly and fool-usable.

same crap, different version, few minor changes to keep trying to make money off of this crapware. i wish there were a zero stars rating. be sure to read all the reviews below. again, same garbage with no real improvements. still trying to make money by passing this off as freeware when it is not. warning: do not install.

i recently started using evernote and its "free" storage space is severely limited. i have over 4000 pics on my iphone and have used only half the iphone capacity. i uploaded 166 pics from the iphone to evernote, used 99% of evernote upload capacity and recieved a warning notice that evernote utilization would be restricted until the next cycle. from a practical standpoint evernotes data restriction allows only 2% utilization of my iphones capacity per month. with this strict data limitation, it is more functional to use my iphone, ipad, and laptops and "forget evernote".

this is a nice bulk file optimzier tool, it really does slim down and optimize files. however it has 2 critical flaws which needs to be fixed. things that could be improved:1.) the default setting is to remove metadata info. so for example on jpg files, the program strips out critical pieces of exif data from jpg files:exif-camera (date picture was taken)exif-origin (camera f-stop/exposure/iso)this is critical because if you want to rename your jpg files based on "date taken", it's stripped out and won't work.under "options" there is a checkbox "copy metadata". i recommend you enable it for all applicable file extensions. this really should be enabled by default.2.) there is no "abort" or "pause" button. you have to close out of the program to cancel operations. understandable as it uses multiple command line operations/plugins, but it'd be nice if it was possible to abort.other considerations:pdf/png/exe compression compression is slow, especially on dual core systems (ymmv) sometimes not worth the effort considering most pdf/png/exe files won't compress much further.keep in mind during processing, the program places originals in your recycle bin. so if you process 1 gb of data, it takes up 2gb of space (until you empty recycle bin)in some cases exe files also do self integrity checks on itself and related dll files. some cases it fails to run after compression. one example is winwgetportable, which failed nsis self integrity check after compression of both exe and dll files.tests:on a sample jpg photo created from a canon eos 60d (18 megapixels) it shrunk down the file size from 5.95 mb to 5.88 mb with no difference in picture quality, even zoomed up close. true to it's stated "lossless" description.on a sample pdf file, by default it downconverts to 150dpi, so images inside will slightly change when viewed close. setting to "prepress 300dpi" should make it virtually exact.conclusion:good program for squeezing every last drop of space from files, just make sure to backup first, exclude certain program directories, enable "copy metadata" for all extensions, enable "keep file attributes", and change pdf dpi to "prepress 300" under program options.

a bit spartan interface but it works smooth and no one should complain about it.however if the interface/options would be redesigned... hehe
