@some guyi've been using windows 7 for several weeks now and i can honestly say that it isn't vista sp3. i'm running it on an acer aspire one netbook and it runs beautifully. it's what vista should have been to begin with.
i recently purchased a nifty hp pavilion dm1 notebook. it came with windows 7 64 bit and it was doing just fine. then, a few days ago i made a very stupid move and downloaded the windows 8 pre-release evaluation. what i didn't know was that once downloaded win 8 can't be removed. i tried to bring it back to factory settings, but windows 8 wiped that out, as well as all other hp programs that came with the note book. as i write, my bluetooth still doesn't work.i had to find hp drivers for my notebook to try and bring back to standard. some of them work and some don't. since my hp notebook doesn't come with a dvd optical drive i had to order one and also had to order a recovery disk from hp. as soon as these items arrive, i'll be nuking win 8 and get back to using win 7, which when you don't have it, one knows how good it was in comparison.as for win 8, it has some interesting do-dads. the start screen looks like my wife's lumia and quite frankly it sucks. to me it's gimicky and a bit childish. it gets in the way of doing what you want to do do with the computer. i could go on, but i've said enough. in short, i won't be shelling out any shekels for win 8, as it already has cost me a considerable amount of money attempting to get my new notebook back to its original condition. and yes, i was stupid.
orbiting is some kind of moron, huh ....tweak doesn't mean repairwant to repair something, then install again or something newi've used this pack for many year and never once had an issuegrow up
i haven't tried the newest version yet -- and i probably never will.i have been a full retail registered nero user for many years, but in the last two years i have found that nero totally fails to provide any customer service or tech support for their products.all you will ever get by contacting either customer support or tech support is just the typical automated email saying they have received your request and will reply soon -- but don't hold your breath because that promised reply is never going to come.
almost feels like i have vista gadgets on windows xp. way to go. looks good and very stable....
a great, cant-live-without-it program!!! people rave about gestures in browsers, but strokeit allows gestures in pretty much any program.everyone should use this. small, lightweight and bug free as far as i can see.
the new stuff:+) optimized u+ v2 boot technology, now it is possible to boot all of your pcs with a single bootable usb flash drive+) improved syslinux v3/v4 support, can create bootable usb disk from iso image of popular linux distributions, including:debian live 6.03knoppix 6.7backtrack 5fedora 15opensuse 11.4centos live 6mandriva linux 2011*) includes lame 3.99 encoder *) can open bif file of acronis true image 2012 *) supports virtual drives of daemon-tools lite/pro 4.41 *) can detect and use nero 11 and roxio 2011 as default burning software *) some minor improvements and bug fixes-------------------------i've been using ultraiso for over 7 years. it is one of the few pieces of software that has stayed true to itself, updated for what is relevant, and has avoided becoming yet another "piece of bloated" software. to ezb systems, thank you.
i think this program has gotten some undue bad reviews.i used dreamweaver for a long time to create websites. nothing major, but internal corporate database front ends, and small public websites for businesses. this is certainly a worth competitor for dreamweaver. it has (almost) all the features, and about half of the quirkiness. i like it much better. about the only thing i liked more about dreamweaver was that it seemed a little easier to apply css styles to particular parts of the document.i played with this new version 2.0 a bit, and i dont see any major differences yet. the one thing that pops out at me immediately is that the ui not matches my office 2007 theme (black/grey coloring) where ver 1.0 was always the blue theme.
i've dedicated one of my servers for tor (with a modified tor server), now i can log the activity, and take a closer look.i'm not the only one, who run a "snoop-server" on tor, so paranoid people, you better strap on your tinfoilbeanie.
